Beginning December 1st, The Alexandré Mouton House will be adorned in Christmas finery for visitors throughout the month. The work of local florists will be featured in this lavishly decorated circa 1800 home. Each room will be dressed in Yuletide greenery, ornaments and ribbon appropriate to a 19th Century Christmas Celebration. Among the businesses and florists sharing their talents are Champagne’s Floral Department-Anita Bergeron, Brian Crutchfield, Andy Ducharme, Fabians for Flowers, Garden Arrangements, and Viator and Associates.
The holiday season is a perfect time to visit the home or to bring your out-of town guests to enjoy this historic property. Open Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., the museum will be closed on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.
