Speaker: Robert Dafford – Master Muralist

Robert Dafford is a current resident of Lafayette and one of America’s most prominent mural artists, who has painted over 400 works of public art across the United States, Canada, France, Belgium and England.  He has been creating murals, signs, and fine art paintings for 35 years.  Mr. Dafford’s murals grace the walls of commercial and government buildings, churches, and hotels in 26 cities and span 5 countries.  His art has appeared in National Geographic, Smithsonian, and The New York Times.

At Lafayette City Hall, Dafford’s newest mural series, “Lafayette, Who We Are and Where We Live” can be seen on the south wall of City Hall, where he received the 18th International Achievement Award (IAA) from the Lafayette International Foundation in May, 2017.

This FREE event is jointly presented by the Alexandre Mouton House/Lafayette Museum and the Lafayette Public Library System.

Doors open at 1:30 p.m.  Seating is Limited.  Refreshments will be served.
