“Teche: A History of Louisiana’s Most Famous Bayou”

Join us as the Alexandre Mouton House/Lafayette Museum and the Lafayette Public Library System present guest speaker, Shane Bernard.  Dr. Bernard holds a Ph.D. in History from Texas A & M University and a degree in English from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.  He is the author of five books and currently serves as historian and curator to McIlhenny Company on Avery Island, Louisiana.  He resides with his wife and two children in New Iberia, a short distance from Bayou Teche.

Doors for this free event open at 1:30 p.m. and seating is limited.  Refreshments will be served.
